This is the step where you add data objects to the locations you previously captured with the AC Scanner app. Please note you will need access to the internet via mobile data or wi-fi, and GPS access.

1) Before you start working with application, you should check that you have wi-fi connection or mobile internet enabled on your device. Besides, you should check that gps is turned on.
2) After first application start you’ll see the screen below. You should tap on the “Settings” icon in the red rectangle.

3) On the “Settings” screen you should turn on the “Developer mode” radio-button in the red rectangle and return to the previous screen, and tap on the “Start” button and go to the screen of “Photo-mode”.

4) On the “Photo-mode” screen you should point the camera at the previously reconstructed place and capture photo by tap on the button in red rectangle. Then you’ll see the count of captured frames in the bottom panel. If the photo captured, you should tap on “Add sticker” button in the red rectangle and go to the “sticker editor” screen.

5) On the “sticker editor” screen you should enter the sticker text and URL of an object from TripAdvisor in corresponding fields. Then you should move the white circles so that their sticker plane corresponds to the plane of the marked object. After that you should tap on the “cloud” icon at the bottom of the screen. If object has been added, you’ll see the message below.

6) If something goes wrong, you’ll see the message “Cannot add object”.
This can happen in several cases:
If the location to which you are adding the object has not been previously reconstructed
If you chose a bad angle and the frame is not localized. In this case, return to the “photo mode” screen, change the angle, and re-add the object.
